Specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of female pelvic cancers including ovary, uterus, vagina, vulva, and trophoblastic (placental) tumors. Treatments encompass a full range of operative techniques including minimally invasive, reconstructive, and fertility sparing procedures. Consultative services focus on the optimal integration of surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and investigative treatments.The candidate should be well trained; have an ability to relate to patients and referral sources in a professional setting. Candidates must possess superior surgical, leadership, and communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to develop interdisciplinary collaborations.Work out of a state-of-the-art brand new 240 bed teaching facility that provides all major diagnostic and treatment modalities including state-of-the-art surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, prostate seed implantation and cryosurgery. The Prostate Institute of America, emphasizes early detection, accurate staging and expert treatment. The Breast Care Center offers a full range of breast care services including breast health, mammography and the latest in diagnostic, treatment and support services.The local Cancer Center located on the campus of the hospital brings together cancer experts in a convenient setting for cancer patients and their families.
