Summary:

We are seeking a skilled multi-crafted Maintenance Technician with strong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience to support the maintenance and reliability of industrial equipment. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting system failures, and supporting tooling and rigging activities in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, electrical systems, controls, and PLCs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and support equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, vibration-related problems, and equipment failures.
• Replace fittings, components, and worn parts as needed to maintain equipment performance.
• Support tooling setup, equipment alignment, balancing activities, and rigging operations.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances to thousandths of an inch.
• Assist with the maintenance and operation of grinding and balancing equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in industrial electrical maintenance, controls, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and equipment maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting vibration issues and rotating equipment.
• Hands-on experience with shafts, balancing equipment, and precision alignment practices.
• Familiarity with industrial grinders, including Danobat grinding equipment, preferred.
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Willingness to learn, develop additional skills, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Rigging and tooling experience preferred.

• Rotating equipment maintenance
• Shaft repair and balancing
• Precision machining or grinding operations
• Manufacturing, power generation, or heavy industrial environments
