Part Time Orthodontic Assistant

Job Description Job Description **Job Summary:** We are seeking a Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant to join our dental practice. The Orthodontic Assistant will work under the supervision of orthodontists to provide support during patient visits, procedures, and treatments. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent required - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred - X-ray certification - Experience working in a dental office, preferably in orthodontics - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Responsibilities:** - Assist orthodontists during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments - Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices - Maintain patient records and documentation - Ensure a clean and sterile environment - Schedule patient appointments and follow up on treatment plans **Schedule:** This is a part-time position, with flexible hours based on the needs of the dental practice. Hours may include evenings and weekends.
