Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance. Operates film processing equipment. Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in various settings including the operating room and emergency room. Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow effectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills required. Dress code includes hospital blue scrubs, business casual with a lab coat, and basic plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts or dangling earrings are allowed. Hair must be pulled back if longer than shoulder length, and closed-toe shoes are required.
