Entry Level Business Transaction Attorney 

Our client is seeking a 2025 or 2026 law school graduate for a full-time associate position in their Business Practice Group , to start immediately in our Portland office. The candidate must be licensed or pending licensure in the State of Oregon and interested in developing a business transactional practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of business transactions, including:

• Mergers & acquisitions;
• Entity formations and general corporate matters;
• Real property leases, easements, and purchase and sale transactions;
• Real and personal property-based financing;
• Distribution and services contracts and other commercial matters;
• Technology and Licensing contracts, trademark and copyright matters, NDAs

We seek a detail-oriented, collaborative lawyer who takes ownership, shows initiative, and embraces continuous professional growth. Responsibilities will include assisting with complex transactions, drafting clear and effective legal documents, and communicating with clients.

The successful candidate will be eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and interested in working in an environment that provides hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth. Additionally, the desired candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in building a successful practice, developing meaningful client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth and development of the firm’s Business Practice Group.

The position requires strong academic credentials, along with excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional client service and a desire to develop long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
