IT Lead

Robert Half is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify an IT lead (contract to hire). In this role, you will serve as the primary technology support resource for a growing Austin-based office of approximately 150 employees. This individual will act as the local face of IT, providing onsite support while partnering closely with a broader global technology team for escalations and enterprise-level initiatives. This role is onsite in Austin, Tx. Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary onsite IT support resource for a 150+ user office environment.Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, and business applications.Act as the local escalation point while collaborating with remote and global IT teams.Support and troubleshoot a predominantly Mac-based environment, along with Windows devices and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).Administer endpoint management solutions, including device provisioning, deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management.Manage user onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, and access requests.Support cloud-based productivity, collaboration, and SaaS applications.Troubleshoot conference room technology, video conferencing systems, mobile devices, and network connectivity issues.Maintain IT assets, documentation, ticketing records, and operational procedures.Assist with automation, process improvements, and continuous enhancement of the end-user experience.Take ownership of technical issues from identification through resolution while delivering high-quality customer service.
