Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting cross-functional teams across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Lake Forest, IL What's the Job? Ensure regulatory compliance for healthcare software products and related quality processes. Support and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality System by identifying, addressing, and documenting non-compliance issues. Perform software quality assurance and testing activities within a regulated environment. Create, review, and maintain risk management documentation to evaluate and mitigate product risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product safety, effectiveness, and compliance throughout the development lifecycle. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or related role. Experience performing software testing in a regulated industry environment. Strong understanding of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and regulatory agencies.
