RN – Critical Care

Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to the patient population served on the assigned units.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse – Critical Care:

Obtain and record initial assessment, establishing priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention
Develop and implement a measurable individualized plan of care within the established time frame
Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on the evaluation of patient outcomes, modifying care plans as needed
Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning
Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
Evaluate the plan of care
Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
Utilize effective communication and delegate unit work assignments appropriately
Coordinate team assignments and follow up on delegated tasks
Participate in the orientation of new staff/students and collaborate with team members
Maintain high levels of patient/customer satisfaction and support unit growth and development
Comply with all safety and hospital policies and maintain positive attendance

Requirements of the Registered Nurse – Critical Care:

Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
Current BLS Certification from AHA
Current ACLS Certification from AHA
Current TNCC Certification
Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
Clear and concise communication skills appropriate to the developmental age of the patient
