Forklift Operator - Grave - $23-$26/hr

Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay: $23.00-$26.00/hour
Shift: Graveyard Shift

A local manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support shipping and production operations. This position involves loading semi-truck trailers, organizing shipping pallets, calculating material requirements, and maintaining propane tanks and accessories in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading trailers, and maintaining organized shipping areas. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate equipment with precision while following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Load semi-truck trailers
Organize and maintain shipping pallets
Ensure the highest quality pallets are selected for shipments
Calculate the amount of material required to complete job orders
Fill and maintain propane tanks and accessories
Safely operate a forklift and other equipment as assigned
Maintain an organized and safe work area
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Experience & Qualifications

Previous forklift experience preferred
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust equipment controls to precise positions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good far-vision and ability to identify details at a distance
Ability to perform basic calculations and determine material requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to walk and use stairways to access multiple floors as needed
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production and shipping environment

Work Schedule

2-2-3 Rotation:
6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Every other weekend off

Pay Rate

$23.00-$26.00/hour
