Tax Manager - CPA

We are a boutique public accounting firm that offers Tax, Accounting, Audit, and CFO Service. We are smaller in numbers but focus on larger complex clients. Most of our clients average $50-$100M in annual revenue. We see a large number of manufacturing clients as well as construction, real estate, professional services, and HNW/UHNWIs. We are about 20 people total now and growing.

We can offer a hybrid in-office set up and even have employees from San Francisco who are mainly remote and just come to the office to meet with clients and major firm meetings. We also pay out overtime at TIME AND A HALF for anything over 2080 hours (40 hour per week avg). We would also love someone with partner aspirations as we have a partner looking to retire in the coming years.

What You Need

• 6+ years in public accounting
• Active CPA or EA
• Expertise in business and individual tax
• Privately held businesses
• HNWIs, partnerships, s-corps, trust & estate, some c-corps
• Clients generating ($5 million - $200 million in annual revenue)
• Experience training, mentoring, and supervising multi-person teams

What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare & review complex tax returns
• Leading tax planning & consulting engagements
• Client management - direct contact with clients for tax planning, consulting, and identifying tax issues
• Researching complex tax issues
• Train & mentor team of multiple levels of employees
• Managing multiple engagements for multiple clients at all times
• Assisting with occasional financial statement prep
