This travel nursing assignment places you in a hospital setting supporting medical-surgical patients. The position is a night shift on a 13-week contract with orientation preceding start. Hours are not guaranteed, and shifts may vary.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Med Surg unit, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses; manage procedures and devices as applicable (e.g., wound vac, chest tubes)
- Document in the Meditech EMR; utilize Pyxis for medication dispensing; collaborate with interdisciplinary team
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and provide timely communication to physicians and families
- Contribute to unit operations, including patient safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies
- May be required to float to other units (e.g., Laulima, Cardiovascular) in accordance with unit needs

Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license by start of assignment; if not currently licensed in Hawaii, must apply promptly upon offer acceptance
- BLS and ACLS certification
- 2–10 years of Med Surg RN experience
- Ability to work in a hospital Med Surg setting; prepared to float to other units if needed
- Flu vaccination or facility-approved exception required prior to contract start date (exception process available)
- Must arrive the Thursday before start date to complete employee health clearance
