Unit Coordinator

Newfane Rehabilitation and Health Center is Hiring Unit Coordinators! Duties include, but not limited to the following: Scheduling Doctors visits for Residents Answering phones, faxing and accepting faxes from labs, offices and other medical facilities Picking up and distributing mail from Unit, as well as, collecting documents for scanning Updating room changes in our electronic medical record system Creating admission and readmission packets Notifying pharmacy of room/unit change Creating or recreating wrist bands Updating, filing and collating all unit documents Updating resident discharge information Assisting all Departments with projects, as needed. Qualifications: HS diploma / 18 years old or older Basic Computer skills. Able to communicate in a clear, concise manner. Demonstrates strong public relations and organizational skills. Able to adapt to fast pace environment.
