Job Description

Position Title: Blender Operator

Wage: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm

Blender Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Follow proper instructions on blend recipes and batch tickets.
- Locate and maintain inventories in the pre-weigh room.
- Work with warehouse to keep stock at proper levels.
- Manage operation, setup, and recordkeeping for all blending equipment, including scales, blenders, sifters, and metal detectors.
- Load materials into blender(s).
- Perform pack off of finished products for all batch productions.
- Prepare equipment with safety checks, handle changeovers.
- Follow cleaning procedures between runs.
- Support chai team brewing production operations.
- Maintain clean production areas, follow SOPs and GMPs, support compliance with certifications, and assist with preventive maintenance.

Blender Operator Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working on your feet.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to handle materials and equipment.
- Good manual dexterity for handling small components and measuring instruments.
- Ability to work in environments that may include exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Previous experience in a blending or batching role is preferred.
- Strong math skills, with the ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience working with scales and understanding of lot number tracking.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a self-motivated and self-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
