Responsible for the daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals caring for the patient. Accountable for assuring effective use of available resources, maintaining established standards of care and meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. Ensures that variations based on patients' individual needs are justified and well documented. Assists with the management needs of Nursing Unit.

St. Mary's offers a comprehensive orientation process that will provide you with a strong clinical foundation through our Nursing Academy and support as you transition to the registered nurse role.
Education:
Graduate (or soon to be graduate) of an approved School of Nursing with one of the following:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of West Virginia. Must be valid and current.
- A valid and current compact state nurse license.
- Currently in the process of obtaining a current WV or compact state nurse license.
Skills:
Knowledge of current nursing procedures. BLS required.
