Dishwasher Position at Ravenwood Golf Club

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen at Ravenwood Golf Club. This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to a safe and welcoming dining experience for guests and staff.

Essential Functions:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas including sinks, counters, floors, and trash receptacles.
• Ensure proper storage of clean items in designated areas.
• Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify manager when inventory is low.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep or other tasks as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and carrying.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Able to stand 100% of the time.
• Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.

At Ravenwood Golf Club, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the starting wage is: $16.25
