Ultrasound Technician

Job Summary:


We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various specialties including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
• Conduct patient assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Manage case coordination and provide hospice care to patients with advancing age, frailty, and serious illness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment progress.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure quality care delivery.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum of two years experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care settings.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in multiple nursing specialties such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.
• Additional certifications related to specialty areas or hospice care.

Special Considerations:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
• Willingness to collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and patients.
• Field work involving travel to patient locations may be required.

Scheduling:

• Work schedules may vary depending on the care setting and patient needs.
• Shifts could include day, evening, night, or weekend hours as assigned.
