Manufacturing Supervisor - Engines Value Stream

Overview The Manufacturing Supervisor – Engines Value Stream will support manufacturing operations by ensuring quality, productivity, scheduling, material coordination, and process improvements within a production cell. What You Will Do Ensure all quality‑related items for a cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards. Assist in cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness. Assist in scheduling for a cell so that production schedules are met. Assist in sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for a cell to optimize productivity. Coordinate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution of a cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations. Monitor cell performance and productivity of a cell to maximize productivity. Assist in production innovation, including additive manufacturing, of a cell to enhance the cell’s production capabilities. Interface with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory service standards. Responsible for all or a major portion of processing operations in a plant. Oversee production operations, maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling and personnel. Manage and supervise the work of manufacturing production disciplines. Perform professional or management work regularly across multiple manufacturing disciplines. Qualifications You Must Have University degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field. Previous experience working in a technical or operational environment. Qualifications We Prefer Prior supervisory experience of a 10+ team size in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of productivity, manufacturing metrics and corrective action. Continuous improvement (e.g., ACE, Lean, Six Sigma). Conflict resolution skills. Experience with ERP/SAP preferred.
