FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Floor Technician – Lehigh Valley Health Network Location: 206 East Brown Street, East Strousburg, PA 18301 (Lehigh Valley Health Network). Full‑time position. Schedule: Monday – Friday with rotating weekends. Shift: 5:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. (details provided at interview). Pay Range: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities Maintain hard‑surface floor maintenance and apply proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate industrial floor care equipment and automated cleaning systems for large floor areas. Clean carpets and upholstery using shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, and related techniques. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and proper procedures. Operate various industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas. Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs frequently.
