Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will bring experience in intensive care settings and demonstrate the ability to manage complex patient cases efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records of treatments and interventions.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations with clinical expertise.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and state regulations.
• Complete required onboarding modules and adhere to travel compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Strongly prefer candidates with at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Hold active state or compact nursing license upon application.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in critical care nursing, including patient assessment and intervention.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 in a 10-bed ICU setting.
