Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting
• Care for patients requiring both emergent and elective surgical procedures
• Deliver high standards of professional nursing care in collaboration with nurse assistants and interdisciplinary team members
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Healthcare Provider level required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing
• Experience caring for acutely ill adult and surgical patient populations
