Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Engineering Rapid Build Services (ERBS) department is seeking a Manufacturing Planner II to manage and lead the acquisition and manufacturing of Test Equipment.The Manufacturing Planner II will resolve test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues based on knowledge of the engineering design, need, and final intended application. This position includes generating and monitoring the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, facilitating resolution of procurement issues, and ensuring items are delivered to meet customers' schedules.The Manufacturing Planner II will utilize Engineering Manufacturing Management System (EMMS) to generate work orders, build/maintain indentured build of materials (IBOMS), generate material requisitions, and provide material/work order status to customers.This is an onsite position based in Tucson, Arizona.What You Will DoActively contribute to the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment including cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixturesParticipate in engineering design reviewsManage and maintain build configuration and quality history recordsAcquire, track, manage material from procurement through final delivery of completed test setsAssist in resolving manufacturing issues and overseeing delivery of final products to internal/external customersQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant engineering experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, electro-mechanical assemblies.Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment areaExperience with material procurementQualifications We PreferPrevious experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardwareExperience maintaining configuration control of products and drawingsExperience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environmentExperience with the design, use, and fabrication of electrical instrumentationExperience dealing with supply chain and material obsolescence issuesWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
