We work closely with families to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a warm, professional environment.The Waitstaff ensures a positive dining experience for all residents by providing attentive service, maintaining clean and organized dining areas, and supporting overall food service operations.Key Responsibilities:Report to work on time in proper attire, with clean hands and nails, prepared for pre-meal briefingServe residents in assigned areas; assist other areas when time permitsClean and set tables, vacuum or mop dining areas, and pick up loose items from the floorMaintain cleanliness and organization in all dining service areas according to scheduleLearn the special needs of residents and report any changes in behavior to nursing staffFollow all policies in the Employee Handbook and Performance ExpectationsReport unsafe conditions or needed repairs to maintenance or supervisorImmediately report any on-the-job injuriesPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorQualifications:Must be at least 16 years old (if under 18, a Minor Work Permit is required)High school diploma or GED preferredMinimum 1 year of experience in food service preferredFood Handlers certificate (within 14 days) and Dementia Training (within 90 days) requiredProficient in resident care, customer service, teamwork, and maintaining a positive attitudePhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry 35 lbsFrequent standing, walking, squatting, bending, and repetitive arm/hand movementsAbility to push 250 lbs in a wheelchair or cartWe maintain a strong policy of Equal Employment Opportunity for all associates.
