We’re growing our National Adjunct Faculty Network, and we’re looking for experienced security professionals who want meaningful teaching work without the usual adjunct headaches. Our faculty bench includes former leaders from the CIA, NSA, DoD, and companies like Tesla and Uber. Our students don’t just take notes — many go on to defend live networks in our student‑staffed Security Operations Centers. Your teaching is the first link in that chain: the student in your classroom this semester may be triaging live alerts for a college that couldn’t otherwise afford protection. What you’ll do Teach online or hybrid courses — primarily live instruction, with flexibility for asynchronous components (one course or several — your call, based on your availability) Mentor students who are actively pursuing cybersecurity careers Bring real‑world context to a curriculum that’s already built What we’ve eliminated Building courses from scratch — objectives, assessments, and materials are provided Academic bureaucracy — Cyber429 handles coordination with partner institutions Diploma‑mill risk — you’ll teach at legitimate, accredited colleges that value practitioner expertise. Your reputation matters to us. Having significant hands‑on experience in security operations, incident response, threat intelligence, GRC, or a related discipline Holding a master’s degree or higher (preferred) — or a bachelor’s degree paired with strong professional experience Being passionate about mentoring and value applied, credible instruction Wanting teaching that fits around your security career, not instead of it Not a fit if you: Have no hands‑on cyber experience or are entry‑level in the field See teaching as posting content rather than engaging with students Are seeking a content‑creation platform rather than a classroom Compensation Paid per course, with rates typically in the $4,000–$6,000 range depending on course level and format.
