End Date/Duration: Permanent position

Shift: Typical schedule with rotating service coverage; no overnight or weekend shifts outside of call

Hours/Week: Full-time

Employment Type: Direct hire / Permanent

License/Certs: Medical license in South Carolina or eligible, Board-certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

Experience: Completion of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship, prior NICU experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Lead and provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU with 35 beds
• Manage high-acuity neonates with an average daily census of 25-29 infants
• Support approximately 370-400 NICU admissions and 3,400-3,900 deliveries per year
• Deliver advanced interventions such as high-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia
• Participate in well-baby rounds two weeks per month alongside Family Medicine Residents
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
• Engage with pediatric subspecialists including Cardiology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, and MFM
• Provide family-centered care within a supportive, academic environment
• Support the medical team in up-to-date neonatal practices and protocols

What You Need

• Medical license in South Carolina or eligible for licensure
• Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Fellowship completed or in progress in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Strong clinical skills in high-acuity neonatal care

• Previous NICU experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
