Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Registered Nurse – Perioperative

Schedule: Days - 40 hours a week, Monday-Thursday

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Current registered nurse licensure in the state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required for PACU (may obtain within 6 months of hire)
• At least 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative experience
• Basic computer skills
• CNOR preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care during the perioperative period.
• Scrub, circulate, and work in the recovery room as needed.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the perioperative team.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the organization's mission, vision, and values.
