Here at ClosedWon, we are always on the lookout for talented, passionate, and exciting people to join our world-class team. We are looking to hire an entrepreneurial and experienced leader to be a VP of Engineering who will work alongside the CEO.

Our ideal candidate has previously designed and built web and mobile apps in the real world, with attention to functionality, performance, and style. They will be responsible for leading a team of Engineers who own the entire engineering life-cycle from strategy to evaluation.

ClosedWon is the AI sales coach for sales enablement, engagement, and prospecting. We have a playful view of the world. Our mission is to end missed connections. If our clients are closing more deals while enjoying life, then we've made a dent in the universe.

ClosedWon is where work becomes a playground. We empower reps to focus on conversations, not clicks, on building relationships, not activity outputs, and to eliminate the 'no-reply' email. We transform KPI data into Sales Coaching with actionable next steps. ClosedWon will democratize the A-player sales process.

Today, we've built a multi-touch campaign that automates email, social-selling, and voice. Tomorrow, we will build a Sales Coach AI that accelerates the rate of human connections.

Responsibilities:

• Provide inspiring and consistent leadership to the team and make executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements
• Collaborate with the company's leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems
• Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals by directing and maintaining ClosedWon's strategic technology vision, trajectory, development, and potential future use case areas
• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
• Architect codebase for maintainability and scalability
• Create timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services
• Protect the security and integrity of ClosedWon and client data by ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards
• Communicate technology and product strategy to team members, clients, partners and investors
• Implement front-end designs by collaborating with the team and contributing to the interpretation
• Manage technology budgets and time-frames

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Previous experience as a VP Engineering or a similar leadership role
• Experience in Front-end Javascript (e.g. React.js, Redux), Ruby on Rails, Database, System Management (Amazon Web Services "AWS") and Software Architecture
• Understanding of budgets and business-planning at the start-up level
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
• Familiarity with collaboration tools to coordinate and distribute information across multiple platforms
• Must have a growth-mindset and ability to thrive in an agile team environment

• Previous experience working in a start-up
• Previous experience working with a globally distributed or remote team
