Veterinary ReceptionistSkippack Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Take the time you need to recharge.Employee pet discount because we know your pets are family, too.401(k) with a generous company match to help you invest in your future while you care for pets today.Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.Schedule:Week 1: Monday – Wednesday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PMWeek 2: Thursday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM & Saturday, 6:45 AM – 3:00 PMRotating schedule with alternating weeksKey Responsibilities:Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.Qualifications:Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is required.Strong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanorAbout Skippack Animal HospitalSkippack Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary facility serving dogs, cats, and exotic mammals in Skippack, PA.
