Job Opportunity: General Physiatrist

We are excited to announce an opening for a General Physiatrist to join our vibrant and expanding practice. Our department currently comprises eight dedicated physiatrists who prioritize exceptional patient care and are committed to delivering PM&R services to our community.

About Our Facility

Located in Upstate NY, our organization operates a CARF-accredited, 115-bed non-profit acute rehabilitation hospital. We specialize in various areas, including:

• Brain Injury
• Stroke Rehabilitation
• Amputee Care
• Spinal Cord Injury
• Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
• Orthopedic Rehabilitation

We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services and have been recognized as a U.S. News Best Rehabilitation Hospital for the past two years. With over 90 years of excellence in patient care, we also serve as the training site for the local PM&R residency program. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including ReWalk, Ekso, RT300, Xcite, and BURT.

Requirements

Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Board Certified or Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Possession of a valid NYS license and DEA
• Please note that we are not accepting J1 or H1B visa candidates for this position.

Compensation Package

We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Base salary ranging from $265,000 to $290,000, with the potential to earn an additional $50,000 in quality incentives.
• The stated salary reflects the initial compensation range and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift incentives, or other applicable cash compensation.
• Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance and additional benefits provided by the medical group.

• Paid malpractice insurance, including tail coverage after employment with us.
• Paid time off from practice.
