Material Handler - 1st Shift

We pride ourselves on a clean, safe, and organized working environment where you can build a stable, long-term career.Pay: $19-$24/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: 1st shift; Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm, OT as needed.As a Material Handler, you will play a key part in keeping our production floor moving smoothly. You will be responsible for receiving incoming parts, safely storing materials, and picking/kitting orders to support our production teams.Material Movement: Receive, store, kit, and distribute materials to various fabrication and assembly departments.Inventory Tracking: Use our ERP computer system to log materials, and participate in regular inventory cycle counts.Equipment Operations: Learn to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes (we provide the certification training!).Safety First: Maintain an organized work area (7S standards) and follow all OSHA and company safety rules.Basic math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and decimals).Ability to read a tape measure, ruler, and scale accurately.Comfortable reading basic work orders, job packets, and instructions.Basic computer skills (experience with MS Word/Excel or inventory software is a plus).Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally.Reliability and a strong commitment to keeping yourself and your team safe.Great Benefits Starting After 30 Days!Health Care Support: Flexible Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) to pay for a plan of your choice, plus options for spouses and children.Dental & Vision: Comprehensive coverage through Delta Dental.Paid Time Off: 9 paid holidays per year plus PTO.Retirement: 401(k) plan with company matching (eligible after 90 days).Peace of Mind: Short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance options.Safety Gear: Super Steel provides specialized protective equipment.
