CAE Engineer - Crash Safety

Responsibilities Utilize ANSA for preprocessing tasks and meshing. Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis utilizing LS-DYNA. Interpret data, develop, and report countermeasures using Meta-Post for post processing. Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results. Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals. Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance. Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and/or processes. Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules. Travel to client site required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of Crash Safety CAE experience. Education with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing. Experience with CAE tools such as ANSA, LS-DYNA required. Experience with Meta-Post for post processing preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
