Industrial Maintenance MechanicVolt is hiring for a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor for a leading manufacturing facility in Hayward, CA.As a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic you will:Lead and supervise maintenance technicians in daily repair and preventive maintenance activitiesTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipmentCoordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivityInspect, test, and diagnose machinery and equipment malfunctionsEnsure equipment is operating safely and efficientlyReview blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals to support repairsManage maintenance work orders and documentationOrder parts, tools, and supplies as neededSupport facility maintenance projects and equipment installationsEnsure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standardsTrain and mentor maintenance personnelWork closely with production teams to maintain equipment reliabilitySchedule: M-F 5:30am- 2:00pmThis is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or GEDPrevious maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting experienceExperience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systemsAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsKnowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipmentWelding, fabrication, HVAC, or plumbing experience is a plusCommitment to workplace safety and continuous improvementPay Rate: $28/hr. plus DOEBenefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
