Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager Pay: $ 60,000-$70,000 salary based on experience About the Role We are seeking a hands‑on and bilingual Warehouse Operations Supervisor to support and oversee daily warehouse operations. This role will be responsible for coordinating warehouse workflows, resolving operational issues, improving warehouse processes, and ensuring stable, accurate, and efficient execution across inbound, storage, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and returns. This position serves as a key bridge between the warehouse operations team, internal technical teams, external vendors, and 3PL partners. The ideal candidate is highly responsible, operationally detail‑oriented, bilingual in English and Mandarin, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Team Management Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put‑away, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and returns. Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure operational productivity, accuracy, and timeliness. Lead, coach, and support warehouse associates and team leads in daily execution. Partner with HR and warehouse management to recruit, interview, onboard, and train local warehouse employees based on staffing needs. Monitor team performance, provide timely feedback, and promote a disciplined, accountable, and positive warehouse work environment. Issue Resolution & Cross‑functional Coordination Act as the on‑site point of contact for daily operational issues, escalations, and process exceptions. Coordinate with internal operations, IT/system teams, equipment vendors, carriers, and 3PL partners to resolve operational issues. Troubleshoot and follow up on system errors, scanner/PDA issues, label printer problems, equipment malfunctions, and other warehouse exceptions. Track issues through closure and help implement preventive actions to reduce repeat problems. Oversee inbound receiving accuracy, documentation verification, system updates, and inventory put‑away. Support inventory control, cycle counts, bin location accuracy, and discrepancy investigation. Monitor picking, packing, labeling, and shipping quality to ensure order accuracy and on‑time fulfillment. Ensure carrier‑specific and platform‑specific requirements are followed, including FBA and other shipping/labeling standards when applicable. 5S, Safety & Process Improvement Support 5S management, warehouse layout optimization, and on‑site improvement projects. Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment. Enforce company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and OSHA‑related safety standards. Identify operational bottlenecks and propose practical solutions to improve productivity, accuracy, and workflow efficiency. Data, KPI & Reporting Track daily and weekly operational KPIs, including productivity, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, receiving progress, shipping performance, and exception rates. Prepare operational reports and communicate key issues, risks, and improvement actions to management. Review 3PL/vendor performance data and billing details when applicable. Requirements Basic Requirements Authorized to work legally in the United States Fluent bilingual skills in English and Mandarin are required ; must be able to speak, listen, read, and write in both languages Spanish language skills are a strong plus Bachelor’s degree preferred; majors in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields are preferred Experience & Skills Minimum 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain operations experience At least 1 year of warehouse lead, supervisor, or team management experience preferred Strong understanding of warehouse workflows, including inbound, storage, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and returns Experience with WMS, scanners/PDA, label printers, warehouse systems, and basic troubleshooting preferred Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; ability to work with operational data and reports Experience in e‑commerce fulfillment, footwear/apparel, 3PL, or high‑volume warehouse operations preferred Forklift certification or forklift operating experience is a plus Personal Attributes Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills Hands‑on problem solver with a strong sense of ownership Detail‑oriented, reliable, and highly responsible Able to work under pressure and respond quickly to operational changes Strong learning ability and willingness to improve warehouse processes Comfortable working on the warehouse floor and communicating with both frontline employees and management teams Physical & Schedule Requirements Must be able to work on‑site in a warehouse environment Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as needed Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or peak‑season schedules based on business needs Paid time off and paid holidays Career growth opportunities within warehouse operations and supply chain #J-18808-Ljbffr
