Title
Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Schedule
Full Time 3x12 Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with holiday and every other weekend rotations required, as well as 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Requirements
- Currently licensed by the state as a registered professional nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required through the American Heart Association or RQI system during clinical orientation
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum of 1-year experience in MedSurg/Tele/Critical Care Units
- Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support for patients with critical health conditions.
- Monitor and assess patient health status, documenting observations and interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care.

Compliance / Notes
- Must be comfortable floating to ICU, ER, MedSurg, and MST units.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and deal with people in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
- Computer literacy is required, with preference for experience with electronic medical records.
