Registered Nurse, Stepdown Unit – Night Shift (Full Time) Location: Nashville, Tennessee Posted: 09-Jun-26 Organization: VCH Step Down Hours of Position Full-time (36 hours per week), nights (6:45 p.m.–6:45 a.m.) Job Summary Responsible for planning, organizing, and administering patient care within the scope of your training and expertise, collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Establish the plan of care and coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient needs across the continuum. Analyze comprehensive information relevant to patient care to determine nursing diagnoses. Use the nursing process continually to evaluate patient progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions for effective outcomes. Employ strategies that promote health and a safe, healthy environment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Technical Capabilities The RN must have competencies in patient assessment, education, care planning, and evidence-based nutrition practice, among others. Certifications Needed BLS, ACLS, NIH Qualifications Licensed Registered Nurse (licensure required). Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program. Less than 1 year of relevant work experience. Experience Level Less than 1 year.
