Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations as needed
• On-call requirements include 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 backup per week with a 30-minute response time requiring readiness in the OR
• Additional mandated call may occasionally be required
• Every 3rd weekend rotation and holiday rotation required
• Facility uses Epic charting
• Set up operative suites for patients and verify all supplies are available through case cart review
• Scrub surgical cases across a variety of specialties and turn over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Support 3 cardiothoracic surgeons performing approximately 50-60 cases per month
• Cardiac/thoracic experience required; thoracic robot experience preferred
• Must be flexible, motivated during downtime, and willing to assist with tasks such as pulling case carts and cleaning
• 2+ years of CVOR experience required; prior travel experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or Certificate preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license required (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted); AHA or ARC certifications required
• Any color scrubs permitted
