Job Description
Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Hours per Shift: Tuesday and Thursday: 0 hours, Friday and Saturday: 11 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.


Experience: Minimum 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience
License: Massachusetts Radiology License
Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Registration of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (CT) and (R)


Must-Have:
- Previous travel experience (at least 6 months)
- Experience with Meditech Expanse (highly preferred)
- Ability to perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks including IV insertion and injections
- Willingness to consider other duties on assignment during low census (within scope of practice)
- Must have own vehicle


Description:
This is a CT/X-Ray Technologist position.
Primarily, CT will be needed for this role, but X-Ray experience is also required.
Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
May be assigned independent responsibilities by a Lead Technologist or others in leadership roles.
Proper care of clients in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
May oversee or instruct department personnel as determined by leadership.
Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and digital formats are required.
Practices infection control in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies.
Maintains patient confidentiality.
Demonstrates proper operation of computer systems related to imaging.
Capable of operating and troubleshooting various imaging applications.
Completes mandatory education including blood-borne pathogens and infection control.
Maintains department competencies as required.
Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.
