Senior Systems Architect

Job Summary JCS Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to support the design and implementation of enterprise-level information system architectures. This role is responsible for developing integrated solutions across software, hardware, and communications platforms to meet current and future cross‑functional requirements. Responsibilities Identify and evaluate solution options. Develop high‑level system design diagrams. Ensure compliance with open systems standards (OSI, ISO, IEEE). Analyze workflows and organizational processes to identify issues and implement corrective actions that improve system efficiency and reliability. Support present and future cross‑functional requirements. Ensure common operating environment compliance. Evaluate and resolve workflow and organizational problems. Qualifications BA/BS in a technical or managerial discipline. 10 years of experience in systems architecture. Experience designing software, hardware, and communications architecture. Knowledge of OSI and ISO reference models. Experience developing high‑level system design diagrams. Ability to evaluate workflow and organizational problems. Extensive experience designing systems for DoD, DISA, or DES (preferred). Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance strongly preferred. Ability to work on‑site at Fort Belvoir, VA. Experience architecting solutions for classified defense environments (preferred). Deep knowledge of DoD technical standards (OSI, ISO, IEEE).
