CT Technologist – CT Scan

Schedule: Start Date: ASAP - Rotating weekends; every Sunday night.

Assignment Details: Contract Length: Not specified - Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period.

Requirements: Minimum 1 year of CT experience required. CA state license (must be in hand; pending not accepted). ARRT certification. BLS certification. Fluoro permit. Experience with CT: head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, sinuses, spine, trauma studies. Experience with vascular/CTA studies (e.g., pulmonary embolism, aorta). Competence in contrast media preparation/administration and venipuncture. Trauma and emergency department imaging experience preferred. Experience with 3D rendering / multiplanar reconstructions; Siemens noted as a preference. Preferred: Trauma Level I/II, community hospital, or LTAC experience.

Roles & Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using CT technology. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and images in the electronic medical record system. Ensure equipment is maintained and functional for optimal performance. Stay updated on the latest best practices in imaging and patient safety.

Compliance / Notes: SSN and DOB required for compliance. RTO (requested time off) must be included at the time of submission. LA Fire Card within the last 30 days required. Must disclose license/background issues upfront. Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. Travelers are expected to float between facilities in the state; refusal may affect assignment/guaranteed hours.
