Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents

• Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify resident needs and abilities

• Design and implement occupational therapy interventions to address resident goals, such as improving mobility, strength, and cognitive function

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and efficient treatment

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal care

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Active listening skills and ability to respond to resident needs
