Description of Work We are currently hiring for Inventory Assistant. The primary purpose of the Inventory Assistant is to maintain a safe and organized warehouse, freight, inventory and supplies. Responsibilities include but not limited to verifying and processing freight accurately in N.C.F.S. and E-Procurement systems. Label and store all inventory/non-inventory related items in their proper location as well as maintaining a 98-100% inventory. Deliver all freight and supplies to proper locations. Order medical grade oxygen and data processing supplies. Store medical waste. Assist vendor with pickups. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Pay Grade: NC01 Salary Range: $31,200 - $48,810 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: Qualified applicants must be proficient in written and verbal English. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Ability to perform basic math skills. This is full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement. Work Schedule 1st Shift:7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. including alternating weekends and holidays as scheduled, however, flexibility is required to meet hospital needs. This position is designated as mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.
