I opened my agency in 2026 and currently lead a growing team of three. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked in accounting, bringing a strong background in organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving into agency ownership. I'm also a proud LSU graduate. Our agency offers paid time off and paid holidays, and as a brand-new office, we're excited to provide team members with the opportunity to grow right alongside the agency. Our culture is laid-back, supportive, and focused on building something great together. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Katie Green - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
