Travel Registered Dietitian

Kingwood, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 1 Saturday per month with on-call the following Sunday (rarely called)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient rounds and perform nutritional assessments across a large inpatient dietary department
• Collect and document patient data using the Expanse EMR system
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:12
• Collaborate with clinical staff and interdisciplinary teams to support patient nutrition care plans
• Participate in public speaking or educational activities as needed within the department

Required Qualifications

• Active RD (Registered Dietitian) credential required
• Active LD (Licensed Dietitian) credential required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Proficiency or ability to work with Expanse EMR
• Strong communication skills with a willingness to go above and beyond for patients and team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Public speaking experience or comfort presenting to groups
• Outgoing personality with a strong team-player mentality
• Experience in a high-volume inpatient or acute care dietary setting
