Project Finance Consultant (Contract)

Location: Costa Mesa, CA (Hybrid)

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $80-$85/hour

Type: Contract (1 year+)

Overview

Seeking a Project Finance Consultant to support financial management of a ~$60M data center program. This role will assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial controls across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and manage project budgets (CapEx, OpEx, prepaids)
• Support forecasting and variance analysis
• Assist with month-end close , including accruals and reporting
• Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams
• Identify financial trends, risks, and discrepancies

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or project finance
• Experience supporting capital or large-scale projects preferred
• Strong understanding of budgeting and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP tools (Oracle preferred)
