Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM); 1st and 2nd late shifts required | Expected 40 hours/week | No call, no weekend, no holiday requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in a one-day surgery center environment
• Support a range of surgical specialties including plastics, orthopedics, ENT, eye surgery, pediatric urology, and pain blocks
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative process
• Adhere to facility protocols, infection control standards, and surgical suite procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered New York State RN License
• BLS Certification (current)
• Minimum 12–24 months of Operating Room nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with plastics, orthopedic, ENT, or eye surgery cases
• Experience with pediatric urology and pain block procedures
• Familiarity with ambulatory or outpatient surgical center workflows
