Highlights Location : Cleveland, OH Facility : Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Schedule : Full-time, Day shift Pay : $35.50 - $55.60/hour About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Electrophysiology (EP)/Cardiac Device Lab supports patients and physicians in the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute’s outpatient department. This role provides specialized nursing care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias and implantable cardiac devices in ambulatory and inpatient settings. What You’ll Do Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services. Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal findings. Perform telephone triage and call rotations. Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications. Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning. Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care. Educate patients and families. Perform interrogation, interpretation, and programming of implantable cardiac devices. Monitor device function and patient status; elevate urgent or abnormal findings to providers. Requirements Education : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Experience : One year of recent experience as an RN. OR Licensed RN with at least two years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department. Licenses & Certifications : Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or willing to obtain within six months of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
