About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Human Resource Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing the organization's people and culture strategies, leading HR functions in advisory, recruitment, business partnerships, and payroll. This role requires a seasoned HR leader with a background in government or public sector environments, known for their ability to combine strategic insight with hands-on HR service delivery expertise. The Deputy CHRO will be responsible for providing strategic oversight across HR service delivery areas, developing and implementing people and culture initiatives, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on workforce planning, employee relations, and change management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in policy development, system improvements, and strategic workforce management, and will be expected to ensure that HR initiatives align with the organization's strategic vision. Key responsibilities also include leading HR policy improvements, leveraging data insights for decision-making, and enhancing reporting to the Board. The role demands a professional with relevant qualifications in HR, ER, business, change, and project management, who can demonstrate resilience and adaptability in high-stakes settings. The Deputy CHRO will work closely with the Chief Human Resource Officer on key transformation projects and must be committed to fostering a positive workplace culture that is inclusive, diverse, and supportive of sustainable growth.
