Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with strong experience in vascular and cardiac care. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in circulating open heart surgeries and vascular cases.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00)
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: Applies after the first call-off per pay period

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in vascular and cardiac care is required
Certifications: ACLS preferred
On-call Requirement: As needed
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend (4 weekend shifts per contract)
COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons)
Special Requirements: Cerner EMR experience preferred

Patient Care Details

Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Daily Census: Approximately 2 patients
Patient Diagnoses Include:
- Peripheral Vascular Disease
- Aortic Disease
- Peripheral Artery Disease
- Carotid Disease
- Coronary Artery Disease
- Valve Disease
- TAVR
- Aortic Dissections

Open AAA

Equipment and Support

Special Equipment: Hybrid room
Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, Transportation, Unit Secretary

Location

This position is located in a Short Term Acute Care facility in Florida.

Additional Information

No requests for time off (RTO) are allowed in the contract, but may be discussed in the interview as applicable. Candidates must comply with hospital policies and maintain professional standards at all times.
