Manufacturing Engineer

Multi-Billion Dollar manufacturing company located in the Jackson Michigan area is looking for Manufacturing Engineer
JOB DUTIES:
- Plans, directs and coordinates manufacturing processes in a machining environment.
- Identify root cause and corrective actions to solve issues with processes, systems, or equipment. This includes coordinating and leading initiatives with other departments when applicable.
- Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, material and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities.
- Coordinate New Program Launches - Design, line layouts, capital procurement, equipment programming, setup, and training.
- Develop / troubleshoot manufacturing processes to meet or exceed established metrics (TRS, Scrap, Process Capability, Tool CPP, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ year working in a machining environment - with experience working on CNC machines, setup and programming
- Lean Manufacturing
