What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric oncology patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses, including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, ensuring patient stability and safety
- Administer chemotherapy and other med-surg treatments following established protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Follow infection prevention protocols and prioritize patient safety
- Float as needed to other medical-surgical oncology units based on unit needs
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (EPIC)
What You Need
Required:
- Ohio Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant medical-surgical nursing experience in oncology
- Ability to interpret telemetry monitoring
Preferred:
- ONS Chemotherapy Certification
- Previous travel or agency nursing experience
