Here, you will make an impact by:Leading the nonwovens team to develop the next generation of nonwoven processes and productsDeveloping and executing strategic plans and roadmaps for the nonwoven’s portfolioPartnering with division laboratory and manufacturing teams to deploy technologies into productionShaping and executing intellectual property strategies and supporting patent and trade secret developmentBuilding organizational capabilities through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and effective leadershipEnsuring all environmental, health, and safety expectations are integrated into the culture and the daily activities of the team Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution Five (5) year(s) of experience in technology development or product development in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Supervisory and technical leadership experience in a private, public government or military environmentDemonstrated commitment to environmental, health, and safety leadership and laboratory safety cultureProven ability to develop new R&D capabilitiesStrong people development skillsDemonstrated strength in intellectual property strategy development and executionStrong communication skillsExperience working cross-functionallyWork location: Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/internationalRelocation: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
